After a careful analysis of foot traffic and the health and safety guidelines for COVID-19 provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Tennessee Department of Health, the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) will move to in person services by appointment only beginning Monday, March 23, 2020. This closure will remain in effect indefinitely for offices in each Tennessee county until the COVID-19 state of emergency is reduced.
During this time, new applications, simplified reporting forms, and recertifications for all TDHS programs may be completed online at https://www.tn.gov/humanservices.html. Customers needing assistance with online applications or other questions can reach employees by calling the Family Assistance Service Center at 866-311-4287 from 8:00am until 4:30pm CST Monday through Friday.
